Minutes:
The host of the final meeting of the WB-TAC project was CRESOL. The first day of meeting in the morning all participants met at the Manises station and together they went to the artisan workshop where the meeting was held. The central theme of first day meeting was “Creativity in learning by doing to empower people”. We talked about how creativity should be free of rules to be expressed in the best way.
Each participant was given a sheet on which a triangle was drawn to create any other object. None of the participants had created an object similar to another, because creativity is subjective in every person. The second activity of the morning was to learn to cook “Paella”. CRESOL told us the story of “Paella Valenciana”, a very long tradition in Valencia where the original recipe involves cooking rice with vegetables, chicken and rabbit meat. The participants were divided into groups and each group was involved in the preparation of an ingredient, then all were cooked together. After cooking “Paella”, we all ate this dish from the city of Valencia together. In the afternoon another activity was organized: the ceramics workshop. During this workshop was explained the “RAKU” technique; Raku is synonymous of unpredictability, it is beyond logic and the calculations of common sense, it is nature in its most humble state. The participants were divided into two groups and both did two activities. the first activity was to produce a terracotta sphere and the second activity was to colour a bowl using the techniques of ceramists.
The day ended with an account of the activities carried out.
On the second day all the participants met in a room to discuss the conclusions of the meeting. The participants were divided into three groups and each of them had to make a list of the positive and negative things learned during this meeting and throughout the project.
The conclusion formulated by all groups was: "learning by doing is based on a memorable experience including participation, creativity, organization, trust and know-how”. All partners in this project recognized the importance of “learning by doing” methods to improve training techniques in different areas, in particular in the field of culture and art. After this group confrontation, the project promoter Ms Giuseppina Bomba thanked all the project partners for the work carried out in all the previous months, expressing the desire to collaborate with them in other projects.
The final part of the meeting was dedicated to issuing certificates and explaining all the documents to be produced to conclude the Erasmus + project process:
1) Evaluation of the Valencia meeting
2) Wb-tac project final evaluation
